Our May program featured Arctic Scientist George Divoky with his story of climate change above the Arctic Circle on tiny Cooper Island. His fascinating work studying the behavior and world of a small seabird, the black guillemot, has continued for 34 summers. He is recording striking changes in the environment including the influx of hungry polar bears and the reduced hatching and fledging success of the guillemots.
